Neighborhood Watch 101 training, Wednesday at 7:30 Capital Lodge #23, 6809 Guadalupe (one block north of Airport Blvd).
NACN has become official partners with Citizen Led Austin Safety Partnership. C.L.A.S.P. is focused on two things - training and equiping Neighborhood Watches and helping neighborhoods, law enforcement, and the judicial system work together to create effective community policing. If you want to start a Watch, or are not quite sure if your Watch is effective, this would be a great meeting to attend. Please note that a Watch does not have to be an entire street - if you are interested in just organizing 5 or 10 houses around you, that is still a Watch!
