The *Violet Crown TAG (Together Against Graffiti) Team* Yahoo group has been formed (see link under Neighborhood Links section).
Please join if you are interested in helping in ANY way, to report tagging that you've seen, to get paint or physical help with tagging as well as to simply stay informed.
Go to the the URL above and click "Join Group." After that just "Start Topic" and post a message that you're willing to volunteer. Once we see how many people are interested and willing, we'll have a better idea of how to proceed.
I've already posted several messages to the [Crestview listserv] so *please* read through them before asking questions or making suggestions.
I have not worked on the PayPal issue yet because it looks like the city as well as Graffiti Abatement can and will give us plenty of supplies. We should have those delivered on Monday. Once I have the goods, we'll figure out how to set a paint date and how to distribute supplies for future work.
I will be at the park at 10am tomorrow (Saturday) morning to paint the heavily tagged picnic table. Please join me if you'd like to meet and chat!
